| R.I.P. Channel 104.9 |

Today at 9 am, KCNL, also known as Channel 104.9, went the way of KSJO and changed formats to Hispanic. This is what I was talking about in previous posts.
As I write this, my future is a little up in the air. When KSJO flipped formats I still had two other English speaking stations in the cluster. Now there's only one left. The work I do when I'm there dusing the week has pretty much been eliminated. There is no way to justify me being there during the week now since there is nothing for me to actually do.
Hopefully, I'll find out on Tuesday if I still have a job. |

I noticed the format change on New Year's Day. Their web site (channel1049.com) says nothing about the change. It still looks like a rock station's web page but the recently played list is all Hispanic. | |
